Megan Bollen

Megan Bollen is a Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Over the years, she has designed and led a variety of experiential programs throughout the U.S. and abroad working for non-profits, schools, universities, and corporations.

Her work has varied, but has always centered on experience and place based learning, as well as developing greater connections with the more-than-human world, others, and ourselves.

Having found nature-centric experiences to be transformative in her own life, she is passionate about walking with others and being a part of the movement bringing people back into meaningful connections with the earth.

She is Wilderness First Aid certified through the National Outdoor Leadership School and holds an M.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder, a B.A. from Colorado Christian University, and Social Studies teaching License in the states of Colorado & Wisconsin.

In addition to consulting and guiding, Megan is an adjunct of Global Studies at Alverno College, an Experiential Facilitator for corporate groups, and a seasonal facilitator for “Tree Top Explorer”, a recreational tree climbing business.
