Forest Therapy sometimes referred to as Forest Bathing, is intentional time spent in front of the purpose of improved wellness. All cultures around the world throughout history have had, and continue to have versions of this practice. All of which provide an array of possible health benefits including physiological, mental, and emotional/spiritual.
At Juniper Trails, we practice relational forest therapy grounded in scientific research, guided by global standards of practice from the community of professional guides we belong to (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy).
During a Forest Therapy walk, you can expect possible increases in mood and immune function, reduced levels of stress and anxiety, and strengthened mental clarity through attention restoration, as well as many other possible benefits.
There are a growing number of studies supporting the wide range of possible benefits from time in nature.
